SSleep Space
Your data should have a job.
Last updated May 28, 2026.
Sleep Space collects and uses information to run stays, keep guests safe, improve our rooms, operate our properties, prevent fraud and damage, support guests, and make better product and corporate decisions from feedback.
Not every Sleep Space property, room, app version, or device has every system listed below. Guests should still assume that Sleep Space may collect broad operational, booking, identity, payment, device, room, support, and feedback data connected to a stay or interaction with us where legally permitted. We use lawfully collected data for the business, safety, service, product, property, analytics, artificial intelligence, pricing, staffing, planning, and corporate purposes described in this policy.
We collect broadly, not randomly. We do not claim a right to collect data that applicable law prohibits, and we do not use this policy to remove rights that privacy law gives you.
Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email, phone number, profile photo, and sign-in method.
- Booking information such as property, room, stay dates, pricing, payment status, check-in status, access QR usage, and reservation history.
- Identity and safety information when verification is required after booking, including verification status and related records from our verification providers.
- Payment and billing information handled by our payment providers, including cards on file, authorizations, charges, refunds, taxes, fees, and damage-related billing records.
- Device, app, and usage information such as browser type, IP address, approximate location, device identifiers, logs, settings, room-control activity, door or access events, property network signals, QR or credential events, and support interactions.
- Feedback, front desk requests, location suggestions, franchise interest, survey responses, messages, uploaded images, and other content you send us.
How we use information
- To create accounts, process bookings, support check-in, provide room access, and operate the guest app.
- To provide support, respond to front desk requests, and handle safety, security, fraud, damage, and policy issues.
- To improve Sleep Space properties, room controls, pricing, staffing, hiring, product design, and corporate planning.
- To generate internal summaries, analytics, and AI-assisted recommendations from feedback and operational signals.
- To train, test, evaluate, monitor, and improve internal tools, automation, artificial intelligence systems, forecasting, operations, guest experience, pricing, staffing, property planning, and fraud-prevention systems, where permitted by law.
- To communicate with you about stays, support, launches, policy updates, and service-related messages.
Legal bases and limits
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on the basis that fits the use: performance of a contract for bookings and stays, legitimate interests for property operations, safety, fraud prevention, analytics, service improvement, artificial intelligence development, and business planning, legal obligations for tax, accounting, safety, and law-enforcement responses, consent where required, and vital interests in emergencies.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Sleep Space, including hosting, payments, identity verification, communications, analytics, support, security, and property operations providers. We may also share information when required by law, to protect guests and property, or as part of a business transaction such as financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
AI feedback recommendations
Feedback, support messages, operational signals, room-control activity, booking patterns, and other legally collected information may be reviewed by internal tools and AI-assisted systems to identify recurring themes, forecast demand, recommend property improvements, detect risk, support staffing, improve pricing, and design better products. These tools help Sleep Space listen and operate better; important safety, legal, billing, and guest support decisions remain subject to human review when appropriate.
Retention and transfers
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including bookings, safety, legal, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, analytics, artificial intelligence evaluation, product improvement, and property operations. We may process or store information in the United States and other places where our providers operate, using safeguards required by applicable law when they apply.
Your choices
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, or limits on certain uses of your information. Some records may need to be retained for bookings, safety, legal, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and property operations.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region with similar rights, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
